Recently filmed drone footage showcases our soon-to-be-completed PAS 2035 ‘Airey’ non-traditional decarbonisation project for Rykneld Homes.
The properties in this scheme have undergone whole-house retrofit energy efficiency upgrades and are some of the most complicated and challenging home types to improve.
Having partnered with and support Rykneld Homes on its Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Wave 2 application, we were delighted to see the team successful in securing more than £8.2m. This funding will go towards a £23m decarbonisation project that will deliver improvements to 600 non-traditional properties by March 2025 on behalf of North East Derbyshire District Council.
It really outlines how a collaborative, partnership approach – along with successful project delivery under previous funding streams – is acknowledged and used as an example of how to deliver large-scale retrofit projects.
